What is this FanSeek thing all about?
FanSeek was started by two guys, Jon Watkins and Edwin Jeffords. Both Jon and Edwin watch their sports religiously and realized one day after possibly one too many beers, there is no way for sports fans to connect locally with other fans. Then the napkin and pen came out at the bar - and FanSeek.com was born!
It’s amazing to many people that these two can be friends, much less own a business together... because of sports. See, living in “Basketball Country” (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, NC) things aren’t taken lightly come hoops time. Jon is a diehard UNC Tar Heel fan... and Edwin is a diehard fan of rival team NC State Wolfpack. The two realized early on discussing their respective teams with each other is a horrible idea, unless someone wants a black eye.
So this site isn’t a big corporate deal backed with millions of dollars... in fact, it’s just the opposite. Although Jon and Edwin own a company together (Dynamic Web Strategies, Inc.) - there’s nothing corporate in the way they think or act... and the millions of dollars, well, not so much.
FanSeek.com is about you and for you, the fan. This REALLY is your site and YOU’RE in control. Can you think of some new features you would like to see? Does something suck? Let us know... send an email to Edwin and Jon at comments@FanSeek.com.

About Edwin:

FanSeek Profile Page: CLICK HERE
Edwin, a graduate of NC State University in Raleigh, NC is a lifelong Wolfpack fan. Edwin is married to one of the coolest girls you’ll find, Murph (her real name is Heather... but you don’t want to call her that unless you want to get hurt). He’s a proud father to his dog, Rebel.
Last week Edwin officially reached the end of the Internet, so he’s looking for something else to do with his spare time. Email him any suggestions...

About Jon:

FanSeek Profile Page: CLICK HERE
Jon is a graduate of Appalachian State University (if you’ve never heard of that school, it’s in the mountains of NC) but has dual fanship to the Mountaineers and is a die-hard, lifelong UNC Tar Heel fan. You can catch Jon at most any UNC home basketball or football game.
Beyond sports, Jon’s passionate about politics but most people hate to talk politics with him. He loves to fish, although he’s horrible at it. If you actually see Jon with a fish he’s caught, you’ve experienced something most people never will.
